Evaluation of farmers' participatory behavior and compensation policy for agricultural water-saving

Today, with the decreased available water resources and intensification of conflicts between users resources, cooperation or non-cooperation in protection programs, especially agricultural sector, is crucial importance. Therefore, present study aimed to provide a framework evaluate participatory behavior farmers optimal patterns allocation estimate necessary budget compensate for reduction consumption areas. To achieve this aim, integration economic-environmental programming model top-down analytical approach agent-based bottom-up has been applied study. Thus, irrigation network Jiroft Plain was chosen as area sample extracted analysis using simple random method. It found that different forms insistence on individual make it difficult participate simultaneously providing economic environmental goals. As degree participation equal weight goals, despite implementation policy giving facilities very low interest rate installation new technologies, estimated about 20%. Finally, compensation storage calculated based proposed framework, which can be considered useful tool makers management.
